Email notification

Not sure where to put this query,is it possible to get email alerts when there are additions to threads you have posted in, and if so how do you do it,I go on another forum 'nothing to do with cars "where you automatically get alerts on threads you have posted in, but you don't get confirmation that your post has been allowed they just go straight in as you are a trusted member ......John

I've not looked and I've not been on here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages, so I not 100% certain, but isn't there an option within your profile to turn on / off email notifications?

There is yeh, its either on your profile or its on the reply menu saying something like "follow this topic" it stays on once selected too so its a one time deal

what about edit posting defaults? there's a check box for notify me of replies

Or you can click 'View Your Posts' under the DC2 logo at the top of the page.

think it's more for people who don't visit daily, i have the same setup on some other forums i don't frequent but like to know if something is posted in a thread i've added to :)
