Forum Rules

Postby Forum Admin » Thu Feb 19, 2004 6:16 pm

By registering you have agreed to follow these forum rules:

- No offensive language.

- No speeding/street-racing posts*.

- No libellous language be it potential or actual.

- No sexually-orientated material.

- No racist material or anything that is potentially inciting racial hatred.

- No posts containing personal abuse.

- No advertising or sale of illegal goods that infringe criminal or copyright laws.

- No spam or any other form of unauthorised advertising.

- Traders must ask for permission before posting commercial ads.

- Back To The Top type posts (also known as 'bumping') are not allowed and will be removed. Repeated 'bumping' will result in a temporary ban.

- Avatars must not contain offensive or sexually orientated images and must be no larger than 100x100 pixels in size. Animated Avatars are not permitted.

- Signature Images in signatures for REGULAR forum members are NOT permitted.
Forum Supporters/Sponsors/Contributors are allowed to advertise their Company/Products as a static signature banner and are the only members allowed to do this.
Text signatures are permitted for everyone but must not be excessively large or contain offensive or sexually orientated words/implications. Signatures which don't comply with this rule will be removed without warning.

- Writing Style Virtually everyone on here is using a computer and has a full size keyboard. Please use normal writing styles and refrain from the use of TXT SPEAK or other obvious abbreviations. Posts which ignore this are liable to be deleted without warning by the moderators. We understand some people use their mobile phones and blackberries from time to time and so the odd exception is allowed, but only in exceptional circumstance.

- Thread titles When starting a new thread, please give it a meaningful title that accurately reflects its content. Threads with cryptic or misleading titles just waste people's time and bandwidth - titles will be changed or the thread deleted as we consider appropriate.

- Private Classified For Sale and Wanted Section
Users with less that 100 posts are not allowed to buy and sell items privately through this forum. This is to try to prevent or at least reduce the risk of any fraudulent behaviour. Avoiding this rule by sending private messages will result in action by the forum moderators or administrators that could end up with you being banned from the forum.
All threads in these sections must comply with the rules stated for those sections (which can be found at the top of each forum).

All new users are automatically put into a user group which limits their access. The first 10 posts you make as a new user must be moderated first before it is posted to the board. This is to minimise forum spam.
